Please read these rules before you post in any of the forums:

General
While this site does not discriminate against anyone, it is still an English-speaking community. As such, all posts should be in English. This isn't a strong rule but should serve more as a guideline.
This forum is accessed by people of all ages, and it is strongly advised that you limit profanity. Do not post any vulgar, pornographic, or explicit images.
Racism, sexism, and general discrimination will not be tolerated.
Illegal Activities
There shall be NO distribution of illegally-pirated media. That includes (but is NOT limited to) - licensed movies, music, video games, console games, software, magazines, comics, television shows, etc. This rule also includes information on where to obtain said digital contraband. Though the forums are not nationally-biased, the servers are hosted inside the United States and as such, all forum members must abide by US laws.
Forum Posting
Don't start a topic until you have performed a search. Duplicate threads shall be deleted.
Double-posting is prohibited. This means you should edit your previous post rather then create a new one.
Do not post in threads that are older than one month (grave digging), instead, make a new thread linking to the old one, if context is needed.
No pyramid schemes, that means that you should go scam gullible people elsewhere.
Large images should be avoided if possible, and spoiler tags should be wrapped around any content that might stretch the page or cause other forum members inconvenient scrolling.
Excessive amounts of emoticons will not be tolerated.
If you have to criticize someone, do it tactfully or keep it to yourself. The moderators understand that you didn't start the fire, but don't add to the flame war.
Formatting
Don't create an extra long line of quotes. If the post you are quoting already has too many quotes, remove everything you don't want to quote.
CAPS LOCK is not cruise control for cool, and neither is sTiCkY cApS.
Don't reply to a thread unless you have something to contribute to the conversation. Any one letter posts will be deleted and offenders warned.
Though it is not a rule, chat speak (u r lik, ttly s2pid) is generally discouraged. It makes you look stupid and is an inconvenience for forum members to decipher.
Capital letters and periods at the beginning and end of sentences are advised also.
Spam
Users are not allowed to make threads or posts with the sole intention of advertising a product or external website.
Links to your website or a product can be in your signature as long as it is unobtrusive.
Avatars and Signatures
Avatars and signatures are given to Pokesav.org members to customize their posts. Do not abuse this privilege by having obscene/explicit/inappropriate pictures as your avatar or signature.
Signatures should not be too large. The width of the signature should not exceed ~800px and the height ~400px. File sizes for the signatures and avatars should also not exceed 50KB.
These sizes are not set in stone, but please use your common sense when making signatures.
Avatar and signature violations are not likely to result in a warning unless the offense is serious.
Consequences
Depending on the situation, the violator will receive a warning, multiple warnings and a suspension, or possibly, a permanent ban from the forums.
